on behalf of Macquarie Southern Cross Media Pty Ltd ACN 109 243 110 and its
various subsidiaries (referred to in this Privacy Policy as “MSCM”, “us" or "we"). The
Privacy Policy sets out our policies with respect to personal information we
collect, use and disclose.
MSCM is
bound by the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) outlined in
Schedule 3 of the national Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act), and aims to comply with the Privacy
Act and with any applicable
current or future laws relating to privacy, data collection and the use of
information.
We are
committed to the protection of your privacy and the personal information you
disclose when you access our Website.
The Privacy
Policy should be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions governing
your use of the Website (as set out separately on the Website).

How we collect information from you

Competitions
When you
enter a competition through the Website, you may be required to provide
information to satisfy the entry conditions. If the competition is sponsored by a third party advertiser (Advertiser), you may be prompted to
opt-in to receive further promotional material from the Advertiser. If you consent to this, then at the end of
the competition, we will provide the information on your entry form to the
Advertiser.

Information
collected automatically - "cookies"
and "clickstream" information
(i) Cookies:
Whenever you visit the
Website our servers automatically record information about your usage of the
Website through ‘cookies’.
Cookies are a feature of Internet web browsers which
are small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer's hard

we use and disclose your information

of collection your personal information may be used for a number of purposes,

(b) Disclosure
(i) Related parties
We may disclose
personal information across the MSCM group of companies to our related bodies
corporate (as defined in the Corporations
Act 2001 (Cth)) in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
(ii) Third Parties
We may also make
personal information available to:
(i)
third parties engaged by us to provide functions
on our behalf, such as processing credit card information, analysing
information, providing marketing assistance and/or providing
information technology and related servicesand advertising;
(ii)
third parties authorised by you to receive
personal information held by us; and
(iii)
unrelated
third parties (for example our professional advisors and government
authorities) where that disclosure is reasonably required to obtain legal
advice or where we are required to do so by law, and in a manner that complies
with that law
We also reserve the right to disclose your information
to law enforcement agencies in circumstances described in the NPPs and other
applicable laws and regulations, including for the purpose of assisting a
lawful authority in the discharge of its duties.
Other than as outlined above, we will endeavour to
provide you with notice when we wish to provide personal information about you
to third parties, and provide you with the opportunity to choose not to share
that information.
Under no circumstances will your personal information ever be used,
shared or analysed by us, other than in accordance with this policy.
(iii) Our employees, contractors and agents
We may also provide your personal information to our
commercial sponsors, advertisers and business partners (our Partners). Our Partners, employees, contractors, agents
and other advisers will have access to only that personal information required
by them to perform their functions, and may not use such information for any

Subject to receiving your prior approval, our Partners

of secure computer storage facilities based in the USA
and around Australia, and in
local hard drives located at our offices across Australia. We have taken

and use by implementing a variety of technologies to prevent unauthorised
access to the server.
Due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee
that your personal information will always be secure during transmission or
storage. We will take all reasonable
steps to keep our server and transmissions to and from our server secure, but
we are unable to absolutely guarantee security of your personal
information. There will always be a risk
of unauthorised access to your information and we will not be held responsible
for events arising from unauthorised access to such information. Please contact us if you become aware or have
reason to believe that there has been any unauthorised access to or use of your
personal information.
Once we no longer need your personal information, we will
take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal

use or disclosure of your personal information by any third parties (including,
but not limited to, our Partners). We

Accessing
your information
We maintain procedures designed to ensure that the
personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, current and
complete. If you wish to change personal
information that is out of date or inaccurate at any time, please contact us by

reasonable steps to correct any of your information that is inaccurate,
incomplete or out of date. If you wish
to have your personal information deleted please let us know and we will delete
that information.
You may access your personal information and we will
provide a copy of any of your personal information we hold on request from
you. If you would like us to provide you
with copies of your personal information, please contact us by email on brief@theradio.com.au. The NPPs set out
the following circumstances in which we are not required to provide you with
access to your personal information. These include where:

information, in which case, we will inform you of the fee in advance of

deal with us on an anonymous basis. However in some circumstances if you do not provide us with your
personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the requested
product or service (for example, if you enter a competition and do not provide
us with your details, we cannot contact you to provide you with a prize if you
are a prizewinner).

use and disclosure of children's personal information as it does to that of
adults.

additional protection, all people under the age of 18 must obtain the consent
of their parent or legal guardian before accessing the Website, particularly
